This blog we will discuss about some mathmatics tricks. I am sure these tricks will help you to increase the speed of calculation in competitive exams like CAT, IBPS and etc.

Trick 1: Multiplication

Simple method to do complex multiplication quickly. This method is simply explained in the pictures below.

Example:- Multiply with 78x26 ,this problem we can solve by our method as below.

Step 01:  

Multiply 8x6=48, keep 4 as carry

Step 02:

                Multiply diagonal digits and find their total with carry in previous step.

                                7x6 = 42

                                8x2 = 16

                               42+16=58

Add 58 with carry in the previous step,

                     58+4=62 , keep 6 as carry

Step 03:

                Multiply7x2=14

                                Add 14 with carry in previous step.

                                                14+6=20

      

Answer is 2028
