The answer is 49 (36+13). The difference between each two 
consecutive numbers grows in the order of 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13. All odd numbers.

1+3=4

4+5=9

9+7=16

16+9=25

25+11=36

Likewise 36+13=49
